Kids Active Lakelands ELC: Found at 1 Judd Way, Lakelands, WA 6180, is an Early Learning Centre that caters for zero- to 5-year-olds. It offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. It emphasises holistic development through a variety of activities and programs.
In the first five years of life, your child's brain undergoes rapid and significant development, more so than at any other time. The early experiences they have – including the relationships they form and the things they see, hear, touch, smell, and taste – stimulate their brain, creating millions of connections. These formative years lay the foundation for their learning, health, and behavior throughout life.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to empower children to take responsibility for their own health, physical, and emotional well-being. We aim to build meaningful and supportive partnerships with all our parents and families. By facilitating various community initiatives, we enable our children to connect with the community, grow, and learn through these experiences.
We serve families through collaboration, regular communication, and involvement in celebrating their children's milestones. Our goal is to positively impact children and educators in our centres by fostering a strong sense of connection, identity, well-being, confidence, and belonging.
Our Approach
We are dedicated to creating an environment where every child feels safe, happy, and actively engaged in learning. We recognize the unique value of each child, their need to belong, their desire to play, learn, and have fun, and we provide opportunities for them to express themselves in their own unique ways. We honor and celebrate the diversity of our children's heritage and life experiences.
Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our adherence to the quality standards set out by ACECQA, ensuring high-quality care in every aspect of our service. We support and empower our educators to focus on the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of the children in our care.
