As the key member of the team, you will be creating and implementing educational programs for individuals and groups of children.
Essential Duties
- Provide exceptional leadership and guidance to a team of Educator Assistants to successfully implement and reflect on the educational programs created by yourself
- Supervise and provide the best possible education care to our children
- Promote positive working relationships with our families
- Provide learning opportunities for all children through intentional teaching and play-based learning
- Provides and maintains a safe, healthy, nurturing and stimulating learning environment for all children, preventing injuries and handling emergencies appropriately.
- Take personal ownership of your working environment and quality of care
Minimum Requirements
- WWWC
- Police Clearance Certificate
- Medical Certificate
- Drivers License
- First Aid Certificate
- Diploma in Childrens Services or Bachelors in Early Learning or equivalent
- At least 2 years previous experience in a similar role
- A positive and professional demeaner and a passion for early education and childcare
- A willingness to go beyond the call of duty and the ability to continuously improve the service and quality of care and education
- The ability to demonstrate innovative and creative thinking
- Experience in delivering quality early education and care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to build and foster meaningful relationships with children and families
